2b. Roundel: St Lawrence, who stands tonsured and vested as a deacon, facing to sinister, holding an open book in his right hand and his gridiron in the left. He is placed on chequered paving before a Renaissance archway in a low wall; in the background is a hilly landscape with castles. Along the bottom of his fringed dalmatic are the letters '‘SANCT’' in Roman script. Flemish. c.1530 – c.1540. White glass, with trace line, thin matt wash, relieving, and yellow stain. Whole and in excellent condition.
